This anthem is something very different from the creative pen of Pepper Choplin. The composer follows the natural flow of the text of James 3 in crafting this through-composed choral. The first section asks, “Who is wise among you? Who is full of understanding?” Then comes the answer: “Those who sow the peace are full of the wisdom of heaven.” Beautiful melodic lines and rich harmonies make this an anthem of classic beauty that both teaches and inspires. Very distinctive.
