Small Udukere (HL 230866)

The udu originated in Nigeria and is actually a water jug with an additional hole, typically made of clay and producing a wide range of sounds. The shekere from West Africa consists of a dried gourd with beads woven into a net covering the gourd, and it may be twisted, shaked or slapped to produce a variety of effects. Tycoon endorser Kornel Horvath had a vision to combine these two unique musical instruments and thus Tycoon has created this brand new udukere.
