Overview

This joyful and tuneful carol uses 12/8 to its fullest, bouncing between 4 dotted quarter notes to 6 quarters in a measure, and the effect is delightful. Smuggled into the piece is a touch of “What Child is This.” But his original music is so strong it carries the day - a lovely verse and powerful chorus that is the title. Released in SATB just last year, it became a run-away hit, demanding this SAB revoicing. Easy to Medium in difficulty.
